ABOUT THE ARTIST
Damian Terlecki alias CZARNOBYL is a polish stencil artist based in Berlin. His mixed style, which combines rough backgrounds with multi-layered grayscale stencils, results in captivating artworks of meticulous and precise images depicting strange, nostalgic characters, cyborgs and abstract patterns, which appear like hallucinations of a dystopic future.
His dark visions of mutants and outsiders are like warnings of an uncontrolled biotech future humanity is heading to. He is one of the pioneers of the polish art and street art community, who has received international recognition.
